Amanda Schaeffer--Starting her 5th year of teaching at Limelight, Miss Amanda teaches ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop, from ages 5 through adults. With over 10 years of experience prior to her teaching position, she performed and placed in many dance competitions in the Harrisburg area. She was also a former member of the Reading Express Steam Team, the dance team for the Reading indoor football team. She has studied dance at many studio’s and conventions including Koresh Studios in Philadelphia, Broadway Dance Center in NYC, and The Pulse Workshop in NYC. Hip Hop is her passion and she continues to study and improve her knowledge of the style and choreography at the Monsters of Hip Hop convention, yearly.
She has studied under top choreographers such as Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo, Dave Scott, Wade Robson, Tyce Diorio, Jaquel Knight, Brian Friedman and Luther Brown. Miss Amanda lives in the Muhlenberg area with husband Matt and is expecting their first child in January.

Brianne Tempesco--Miss Brianne is starting her 5th year with Limelight. Starting dance at the age of three she has been dancing ever since. She teaches tap, ballet and jazz to ages 2 through adults, however her specialty, which she has perfected, is teaching our youngest dancers. During her school years, she was the Captain of her high school Cheerleading Squad which attributed to her ability to lead and teach dance, while becoming a role model to her students. She attended conventions and training courses to improve her dance knowledge at Broadway Dance Center in NYC, where she studied under amazing choreographers such as: Tyce Diorio, Chris Judd, Barbara Duffy, Robert Hoffman, Ashlie Wells, and others. Miss Brianne is also trained as a certified massage therapist. She lives in the Birdsboro area with husband Zack and her dog Bentley. |

Helen Veet

Helen Veet - Beginning her 4th year,,Miss Helen is Limelights’ tap specialist. With over 20 years of study, she has training in Tap, Theatre Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Baton. She participated in numerous recitals and competitions throughout her dance career. She studies on an ongoing basis with Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, and the Pulse Teacher Workshop in NYC, and is an active member of The International Tap Association. When not teaching, she is a employed as a Registered nurse and continues her studies at PSU for her Masters in Nursing. She is also a cheerleading coach for the CYO Cheer Program. Miss Helen lives in the Fleetwood area with her husband Paul and her two children. |

Rachael Hart - Miss Rachael is currently a dance major at Temple University where she studies ballet, pointe, modern, African technique, dance composition and pedagogy and voice. Her performance experience include concert dance, ballet and musical theater. Roles that she played are: Mona (Chicago), Mimi (Rent), Mistoffelees (Cats), Arabian Princess, Harlequin Doll, lead Russian and lead Chinese (BBT-RSO “The Nutcracker”), and Mina (Dracula the Ballet). Rachael studied at Berks Ballet Theater and attended summer programs at the Rock School for Dance Education, the PA Governor’s School for the Arts, and the PA Youth Ballet. When not in school Rachael resides in Birdsboro with her parents. |

Ashley Gofus - Miss Ashley teaches ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical and modern dance styles. She has experience with both classical and contemporary ballet while studying both the Italian Cecchetti and the Russian Vaganova technique. She has choreographed for The Ballet Theater of Lancaster, The Lancaster Summer Arts Festival and the West Chester University Dance Company. She was chosen as 1 of the 10 students to attend the Pa. Governors School of the Arts in 2004. Her leading roles consist of Clara in the Nutcracker, Swanilda in Coppelia, Alice in Alice In Wonderland and Snow White. She also paid for her schooling by modeling for Curtain Call Costumes. Ashley is employed as a nurse during the day and teaches dance at night and lives in the Exeter area with her husband, Jamie. |

Kate Doughton - Miss Kate has been with Limelight for the past 10 years, as a “Dance Mom” watching her daughters learn dance. She started teaching our little ones in the Kinder Kittens, Baby Dance, and Wiggles and Giggles classes two years ago and now has advanced into teaching our Twinkle Toes and Dancing Diva’s classes. Miss Kate has studied tap and hip hop as an adult to improve her dance knowledge and technique. Born and raised in Shropshire, England, she studied philosophy and theology and worked in retail before moving to the US, with husband Lee and her two daughters. She lives in the Exeter area. |

Michele Rankin-- Miss Michele started dance at the age of 5 at the Price Studio in Pottstown. She has been with Limelight for the past 10 years starting out by teaching our Kinder Kittens classes, Baby Dance, Princess Kamps, Wiggles and Giggles, and was our birthday party hostess. She also has experience teaching the Twinkle Toes and Dancing Diva’s classes for the past few years. Her favorite style of dance is tap which she has studied as an adult. She graduated from West Chester University with a BS in Elementary Education, Cum Laude and as a member of the Kappa Delta Pi. She is currently an elementary substitute teacher at Governor Mifflin School District. Michele lives in the Shillington area with her three children. |
